Why CoParticipation?

Participatory processes have rapidly expanded around the world, allowing citizens to play a direct role in policy-making and resource allocation. While these processes are powerful, they also face persistent challenges. Participation is not always inclusive—many voices remain unheard due to language barriers, digital literacy, or accessibility. Proposals are often difficult to compare, analyze, or improve collaboratively, limiting the quality of debate. At the same time, institutions face growing concerns about manipulation, misinformation, or even fraudulent interference, which can undermine trust.

CoParticipation was born out of the recognition that these challenges cannot be solved with traditional approaches alone. By introducing artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and smart safeguards, the project addresses these gaps and sets a new standard for digital participation. The result is a platform that strengthens trust, improves inclusion, and provides meaningful insights for both citizens and decision-makers.
